Explorer when using "File -> Open" or "File -> Save As"
First off, this is a great tool.
I have used it to give explorer a dark background with different highlighting based on file type.
It now has a very UNIX like feel to it.
I like it so much that I'm wondering if it's possible to have this view when accessing options under the file menu.
For example, when you launch Notepad, and access File->Open.

First of all this is a brilliant extension for Win XP and above. It made my everyday using of PC a much better.

QtTab Bar grayed out
While in Windows Explorer, and I tight click on the ToolBar to turn on QtTab, it is grayed out?
I have removed, reinstalled, updated and checked every setting I can thank of. I am SO in hopes I can get some ideas..

Windows X64 Pro PC
The QtTabs worked fine for months and I come in one day, turned on the PC and it has not worked since.
I was going in insert a screen shot but, it would not take.

Few Questions
Hello,
I just found about QTTabBar existence today (after some headache with Clover) and I love it already! The customizations are really great! <3
Anyway,
1. I am trying to install few plugins but I simply can't. When I try to open the .dll files from the "Install a Plugin" window nothing happens only a "beep" error sound.
Do I have to place the .dll files in some specific location or I am missing something else?
I am on Win10 x64 running v1.5.0.0b2 of QTTabBar and tried to install some of those plugins here: qttabbar.wikidot. com/plugins
2. Also, is there a way to arrange the "Standard Buttons" to the right side of the toolbar?
Because If I move them manually it just saves the exact location and If I resize the window they're fixed to this location, but not to the right side.
3. Did I messed something up or the Windows left/right snapping function doesn't work with QTTabBar?

I found why snapping wasn't working for me. I had checked "No window resizing" in the options, disabled it and it works just fine now.

hello, i have problems to run this tool. i have installed the last version of yout qttabbar. i have installed and restart the system (windows 10 64bit) but dont finde shortcut on desktop or entrys on explorer. i have checkt last installerd programms but no listings of QTTabBar. i hae installed again. and restart syste,. the same problem… can you help me?

Extra View-Bottom sizing
Hi,
I am trying to size the Extra Views so that the Left Extra View covers the window from top to bottom, and the Bottow view therefore only covers part of the whole width of the window, namely the same width as the Main Folder View (as one can see in the Manual/Folder View/Default and Extra View picture, as is evident by the placement of the navigation buttons).
However, I cannot find a way to drag the edges of the Bottom View left to right to give enough space to the Left View (i.e. Bottom View always ends up covering the whole width of the window).
Any suggestions?

Misc Issues and Wishlist
First of all, I love this program, and thank you very much for the new revision. I can configure just about everything I want, but I have a few (nit-picky) issues:
1. Is it possible to alternate row colors (or show grid lines) in the details view?
2. I created a Startup Group with several tabs in it. When I start up Explorer, there is an extra tab that opens as well. How do I stop this extra one from opening? (Under Groups | Options, I have tried checking “Close all tabs when group opened” but that does not seem to work.)
3. Is it possible to have all tabs close at once when I click on the Close button in the upper-right-hand corner of Explorer? Currently, I have to click it multiple times; once for each opened tab.
These next ones might just be part of Explorer that can’t be controlled, but I’ll go ahead and ask:
1. Above the Status Bar in Explorer, there is another strip of data that is shown (Date Modified, Offline Status, etc.) Do you know how to turn that off?
2. When I double click on a folder in the Folder View (i.e., left-hand window), the view of the selected folder automatically jumps to put it close to the bottom of the screen. Is there any way to stop it from doing that (i.e., just stay where it is without scrolling the focus to a different position)?

Non directory tabs: "Windows update", "Program and features", "Installed updates"
Many thanks for this tool.
This could be very usefull for special tabs like "Windows update", "Program and features", "Installed updates" because they currently restart their enumeration once the tab is selected.
So there is no real means for the user check for "Windows update" progression without resetting the analysis.
The same behavior occurs with some other special tabs.
Everytime the "Programs and features" tab is selected, it restart enumerating installed programs (and operation could take a while).

Quick question
If you try to click and drag a tab that you're not currently viewing, it will change view to that tab and not drag it. After it has switched to that tab, you're free to drag it to your heart's content. I'm curious if I can change it to immediately allow dragging, if the developer can change it, or perhaps it's an impossibility.

Latest Windows 10x64 updates break QTTabBar
With a little tinkering, it would also work if i reinstalled it on every restart… but that's much to annoying.

New tab hotkey creates too many tabs
Sometimes I will create a new tab using a hotkey (i.e. Ctrl+T) and instead of one new tab, it rapidly creates 10-20 new tabs. Most of the time it only creates one new tab (as desired), even during a long key press.

Can't move QT Command Bar and QTTabBar to the top.
Under options, the only available options are Extra View (left), QT Command Bar (vertical), Extra View (bottom) and QTTabBar - Bottom. I've tried to restore defaults also uninstall and reinstall. Windows 10. Latest version of QTTabBar.

QTtabbar cannot capture the window in a new tab opened from Everything (voidtool)
